RISE-ing to the Challenge: Delivering an experience beyond camp catering services

The Remote sector faces some unique challenges around managing health and lifestyles. Workers regularly pull twelve hour days in demanding positions, and they need calories to replenish their strength, but they also find themselves substantially more at risk of avoidable health concerns than other industries. With all this in mind, it’s important that site management takes steps to build an environment that encourages residents to protect their health.

Cater Care remains wholly committed to supporting the health of the residents we care for. In addition to our camp catering services that protect the health and wellbeing of our site residents through positive health and nutrition, our RISE Health and Wellbeing program offers comprehensive strategies for caring for the health and wellbeing of residents.

A tiered approach
We offer the RISE Healthy Lifestyle Program in three tiers, each with increasing levels of support to provide a positive on-site experience for our residents.

All of our tiers are cost-optimised to meet the specific needs of our clients, and we pride ourselves on being able to deliver services suitable for the kind of on-site health and wellbeing program our clients wish to offer to residents.

RISE Healthy Lifestyle Program in three tiers

Your place on the podium: bronze, silver, and gold

Our Bronze RISE tier is a complementary inclusion available to our partners in the Remote sector. As part of RISE’s Healthy Eating Program Bronze tier, your site will receive a suite of tailored educational materials including newsletters, posters, and other informational essentials to support your own healthy lifestyle program.

Stepping up to the Silver tier grants access to a slew of new resources, including a part-time on-site Health and Lifestyle Coordinator (HLC) to educate residents on health and encourage more mindful lifestyles. As well as the additional expert support, our clients gain access to professional gym assembly and management.

Finally, the Gold tier includes all assets needed to establish a comprehensive on-site health and wellbeing program for your residents. In addition to the inclusions of the two previous tiers, RISE HLCs will be on-site at all times, and can provide support including expert health assessments and social programs.

HLCs: at the heart of your enhanced wellbeing

Our Health and Lifestyle Coordinators are at the heart of everything we do in the RISE Health & Lifestyle Program. Each of our HLCs are qualified specialists educated with four-year university courses that specialise in the delivery of exercise, lifestyle, and behavioural modification programs for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries. Through the proactive implementation of the broader RISE program and engagement with your staff’s HLC, your site could potentially see a reduction in absenteeism, a reduction in injury claims, and a more productive workforce overall.

Stepping up through the tiers

While RISE’s Bronze tier is an appealing value offer for clients who may wish to operate their own programs, stepping up to the Silver or Gold tiers can offer several compelling benefits.

The impact on the health and wellbeing of your residents is potentially immense. Through an expanded roster of group classes, challenge programs, and individually tailored fitness programs, higher-tier RISE offerings work to proactively protect the health of your residents. Should the health of your residents falter, our HLCs are qualified to provide Injury Management Programs and in-depth individual health assessments to provide the resident with a health snapshot and a clear plan to manage any emerging issues.

The RISE program can help protect the mental health of your residents just as much as it can the physical. Our HLCs are trained to provide as many opportunities for socialisation among residents as possible, and when operating in a higher RISE tier, are provided with Social and Health Equipment Packs to host events both on and off site, including karaoke nights, trivia, and live bands where possible.
