Our Food

Our food services are underpinned by core commitments that drive our focus through menu planning, preparing and presenting each meal, every time.

We attract and retain talented chefs through a collaborative management style that includes a genuine commitment to training and career development.

Our menu development is based on the recommendations of the Australian Dietary Guidelines for Healthy Eating to ensure specific nutritional intake requirements are met.

Each seasonal menu is nutritionally analysed by our in-house dietitian to ensure it meets recommended nutritional intake, and supports health and wellbeing.

Our menus are built on fresh seasonal produce provided by local suppliers and presented in line with our strict patient meal tray presentation standards.

MY CHOICES – HEALTHY EATING PROGRAM

Our commitment to encouraging healthy eating has driven development of the My Choices – Healthy Eating Program for use across our education, government, business, industry, and retail business.

The program is based on the Australian Dietary Guidelines for Healthy Eating. It offers healthy menu choices and promotes healthy eating awareness for young people (2-18) and adults (19-70). Delivery is supported by our corporate office food, marketing and site based teams who ensure that residents, students, and customers are provided with clearly identified healthy meal options and healthy eating awareness messages.
