The events, which take part in Sydney and Brisbane on the 7th March, are an opportunity for senior leaders to lead by example in service to vulnerable Australians. Representing Cater Care will be our Directors, Colin Redman (Sydney event) and Kelvin Genn (Brisbane event).
At the event, senior leaders are grouped into teams and paired with celebrated chefs from Australia’s top kitchens. Each team prepares a meal under the guidance of their chef and serves up their beautiful meals to a range of wonderful guests – the vulnerable men and women who are members of the OzHarvest family. The participants are also encouraged to share the meal with guests and connect with a community that you would not often have an opportunity to break bread with.
In the lead up to the event participants are asked to raise funds in support of OzHarvest, with their collective goal this year to raise a minimum of $1,500,000.
‘This is such a worthy cause that can make an enormous impact on the lives of so many’ said Colin Redman, Chief Operating Officer, Cater Care Australia.
‘Every dollar helps OzHarvest deliver more food to people in need, provide nutrition education and training to vulnerable Australians and minimise food waste. I am really looking forward to pulling on an apron and getting involved’.
