Aged Care Catering

As one of the leading aged care catering companies, Cater Care takes pride in its commitment to providing fresh, on-site cooked meals every time. Our dedication to excellence ensures that residents in retirement and aged care facilities receive nutritious and satisfying meals tailored to their needs.

Our trained and experienced staff prepare nutritionally balanced classic and contemporary meals, cooked fresh on site daily for retirement villages and aged care facilities.

As a market leader in the aged care catering industry, we strive to deliver innovative catering solutions while always creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents. We work closely with our clients to enhance the emotional wellbeing and support the quality of life of our residents, all while providing them with the basis of positive nutrition they need to remain healthy and independent.

Just like our food, our business is a fusion of contemporary and classic. We maintain a significant presence in the modern aged care food services industry and can use our size to support clients across the nation, but when faced with new regulations and rising costs, we’re as agile and dynamic as businesses half our size.

Here at Cater Care, we’re dedicated to treating each and every client as if they were our only one. When we partner with a new facility, we don’t use off-the-shelf plans; all of our nursing home catering solutions are tailor made to suit the specific needs of every individual client. And if that client should run into an issue, our robust support networks ensure that our clients receive immediate and thorough assistance from their dedicated on-site and state support teams.

Why Cater Care

Our aged care food and our residents are central to everything we do. All of our catering solutions and contracts are built on the promise of delivering modern and contemporary fresh food that looks good and tastes good, every time. We understand that the quality and variety of food play a central role in the psychological and physical wellbeing of your residents, and we believe that aged care food services have a duty to use their position to protect the health of ageing Australians.

INNOVATIVE AGED CARE CATERING COST HEALTH CHECK

Mapping your facility’s catering can bring frustration and surprises, with staffing, suppliers, and unforeseen issues often driving costs beyond expectations.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Introducing our innovative Catering Cost Health Check—a financial tool for aged care providers. It helps you anticipate hidden expenses before committing to a catering solution, ensuring awareness of potential costs. Use it to uncover hidden costs in setting up your catering solution.

OUR CURRENT PARTNERS

While we’re proud of the work we do to support the aged care industry, you shouldn’t just take our word for it; some of Cater Care’s most steadfast partners have gone on the record sharing their experience with us.

After spending years operating an in-house catering solution, the team at Beauaraba Living found that the rising costs were becoming prohibitive. They set out to find an outsourced caterer who could continue to deliver the quality of personal, compassionate care that the Beauaraba Community had come to expect.

We’re pleased to say that Cater Care was more than able to meet that standard. We have been Beauaraba Living’s strategic partner ever since, and we’ve recently marked the tenth anniversary of our partnership.

“It’s a good partnership. One of the reasons we did it was for the financial aspect of it. It’s been very cost effective for us.”

– Alex Metcalf, CEO.

“We have been working with Cater Care for over ten years, and they’ve actually lived up to what they told us they’d do!”

 – Janet Newlands, Director of Care Services.

MY CHOICES – HEALTHY EATING PROGRAM

Our commitment to encouraging healthy eating has driven development of the My Choices – Healthy Eating Program for use across our education, government, business, industry, and retail business.

The program is based on the Australian Dietary Guidelines for Healthy Eating. It offers healthy menu choices and promotes healthy eating awareness for young people (2-18) and adults (19-70). Delivery is supported by our corporate office food, marketing and site based teams who ensure that consumers, students, and customers are provided with clearly identified healthy meal options and healthy eating awareness messages.
