The Cater Care apprenticeship program facilitates the development of a workforce the business needs, by growing the apprentice’s knowledge, skills and abilities. This builds increased workforce flexibility with multi-skilled employees, by supporting the skills development of the apprentice’s to learn more challenging tasks.
Cater Care apprentice, Samantha Baker is currently undertaking a Certificate Ⅲ in Commercial Cookery at TAFE while completing her practical competencies alongside our experienced chefs at Cook Medical in Brisbane.
“I have been a Cater Care apprentice since May this year, and I really enjoy the feeling of knowing I am working towards becoming a qualified Chef. I love cooking and knew that an apprenticeship would allow me to expand my knowledge and skill set to grow within the company” says Samantha.

The positive influence from the media and television has helped promote the industry and increased the attraction in potential apprentices.
